Here are 10 methods and things I use to test any gun, so I'll apply them to the 229 Legion SAO. In addition to what I have to do, there are other things that may be of interest to others, such as the style, the mag release position, the action, the look, the look, the number of mags included, the look/modification, the rail, the rail, and the grip. Loans, pickup or pickup, covers, bags, customer support and more are included. So I included this in the latest Miscellaneous selection. I have to admit that ALL gun selection decisions are for sale, but I want to accomplish everything I want. I have given 10 points out of 10 points out of 100 points for all the points I can. You can add your own extras and settings or remove any of mine.

Acknowledging that several factors, conditions, advantages and disadvantages, and personal methods can be combined and considered, you must choose for yourself based on your preferences, interests, needs, and use.

To help you evaluate this gun for concealed carry, I wanted to shoot it and see if it really met or exceeded my ten criteria. I use the Santa Rosa Shooting Center at Pace Florida to train students and shoot my test rifles. Thanks to them for the good place. Also, a big thank you to Sig Sauer for providing great equipment to test and review this 229 Legion SAO. This little gun was definitely fun to shoot, and made my accuracy look even better. In terms of performance and portability, I have shot hundreds of guns and this 229 Legion SAO is one of the best, if not the best SAO compact 9mm. I appreciate its large trigger, about 4 pounds of pull, short reset times, and great accuracy even for older codgers. I can honestly say that this 229 Legion SAO has set the shortest reload time I've ever shot. A short reset and a reduction in travel distance of about 60% will help you get to the next shot faster. Below are my ratings for each of the 10 Sig 229 Legion SAO models. I was thinking of it as a concealed carry gun and home defense. I wanted to carry the gun for speed and test it properly for recoil, stopping, accuracy, reliability, ergonomics, etc.

No damage or lag of any kind and this gun performed very well. It absorbed a variety of ammo, including 115-, 124-, and 147-grain Sig Sauer FMJ balls and V-Crown JHP rounds, without issue. I liked how there was a slight dip and a slight rise in the nib. The weight of the gun helped to keep the gun accurate, stable, and stable. I found it easy and smooth to hang the slide and it was easy to get the mag in and out of the well. And quickly and easily fell from the well of mags. It worked very well. I was impressed by the short, crisp, bright, bright, one-shot effect. Also, the handling and ergonomics were good for me. It was comfortable in my hand and the strong G10 grip and material was perfect for me. The grip was good for my average hands. This is a gun I would buy and it will be in my concealed carry. Below, I will provide you with information and my opinion on the 10 dimensions that support the good claims of the 229 Legion SAO compact after a hands-on test.

Sig Sauer: New Pistols Models

Sig Sauer P229 Legion SAO Rapid Fire target at 7 yards with Sig FMJ and JHP Ammo in tow.

Using the 20 second hidden drill at 7 yards with 5 rounds and 15 drills, accuracy was acceptable and on target. But give yourself a shot to make decisions based on your skills and abilities.

229 Legion SAO accuracy was good for me at 7 yards. This gun will work right out of the box with no modifications. After some fine tuning, all of my strikes were done within 5 lines of "Col Ben's Concealed Carry Drill" and within 20 seconds of drawing. This old codger was a pleasure and the gun did a lot of work. Yes, this single-action pistol's 4.10-pound light trigger suppressor and weight greatly reduced my travel and helped improve accuracy. I used my two-handed Modified-Isoscel and shot quickly.

Counting 10 from my Lyman electronic trigger pull gauge, Trigger Press about 4.10 pounds. It was very good, not a light gun for me to carry; I often shoot the 1911 and appreciate the short, light pull. I like my carry gun to be 6.5 pounds or less, so this press was perfect. I would buy this gun and use it for concealed carry, home defense, and travel.

The trigger is tactile, has a very distinct click and resets in a very short time. I like how its sharp trigger is short, light and has a good reset. I was consistent with every shot and could recognize the short adjustment position for quick shots on this unique Master Shop Flat trigger. I loved shooting this smooth trigger, it's one of the best triggers I've ever shot. A very good soft and short version of SAO. You often have to pay a higher price.

The 3.90-inch barrel features a durable, stainless steel, carbon finish, combined with a single action and minimal muzzle bend and recoil. Cast iron was of high quality and low vibration, so it was strong. In my limited experience, carbon steel has good cooling properties, excellent heat resistance, and resistance to heat and corrosion, which helps extend the life of barrels.

The bright green front matches well with the tritium rear dots. I was able to easily capture both daylight and dark scenes. The size of the bright green dot on the front was perfect for me. The back sight platform helped me practice the one-handed rack. For color shooters, the green front sight looked great. And most shooters can shoot greens better than reds. Out of the box, the visuals fit perfectly without any adjustments. The visuals were great for me and really helped me shoot.

Weighing in at 32 ounces, the weight was a bit heavy for the week I carried it. But I do understand that the extra weight has advantages in terms of rotation, nib rotation, and accuracy. For me and my load, habits, and goals, this weight was not a problem. I think most carriers have realized what a small benefit this is. I am ready to change the principles of my concealed carry gun. Try carrying a gun that heavy. For me, this weight is acceptable.
